Silly Billyz fund raiser for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead
Wednesday 17 March 2010
Kids love to be Silly Billyz and invariably end up in some kind of scrape or squeeze.
So the team here at Silly Billyz decided to let their hair down and open their fancy dress up boxes and raise some much needed funds for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, NSW.
We had a Bandaged Bear dress up Day and the theme was “what did you want to be when you grew up”?
We sold Pizzas for lunch, cool drinks and cute as a button cupcakes.
Our raffle was also very popular – meat trays were the favourite for the boys in the warehouse and the ladies loved the Natio Spa Pamper Packs.
Our super heroes, angels, fairies, rock and sports stars and the local constabulary are all looking forward to the next Silly Billyz event and were pleased to take part in raising money for such a worthy cause.
This is Zali Venables. She is 2 years old and just one of the children that The Children's Hospital at Westmead support. Her story and strength will touch your heart and amaze you. Read her story here.
What does Zali want to be when she grows up? A grown up.
